Roasted Baby Potatoes

So who doesn’t love potatoes ??? The one vegetable that everyone loves. This is a delicious crispy pan fried baby potatoes which can be had with rice or rotis (My kids have them as such 😋)

Pattani Sundal

Sundals are prepared using legumes like chickpeas, corn, peanuts, green gram etc. They are easy to cook and are very healthy. Sundals are normally prepared during festivals like Navaratri, Vinayakar Chadurthi in South India. I have prepared Pattani sundal by tempering boiled peas with onions and garnishing with mango chunks. It is very nutritious and kids love it !!!

Pacha payiru Sundal

Green gram Sundal / pacha payiru Sundal is a healthy snack option and can be prepared quickly as it doesn’t require overnight soaking of the lentil. The tempering is so important and adds the taste and flavour to the Sundal. You can add onions and coconut to this recipe if you like.

Sweet Potato Fries with Garlic Mayo Dip

French fries / potato fries is my girl‘s favourite. She doesn’t like sweet potatoes as it is and I always try to include it in the diet in some form she loves to have. This sweet potato fries is one such attempt and yayy it was so good and she loved it too !!!

The garlic mayo is such a mouth watering dip that complements the flavor of the sweet potato with its tangy garlic taste.

Keerai Vadai

Vadai is an all time favourite South Indian snack. Vadai can be prepared using urad dal or channa dal. I have already posted my mix veg Medhu vadai recipe using whole urad dal. This Keerai vadai / masala keerai vadai is prepared by grinding channa dal with spices along with onion, spinach and deep fried.

Pav Bhaji is a fast food from India. It consists of a vegetable gravy served with a soft bread roll. It is a delicious blend of mixed vegetables cooked in butter and spices.
