Tapioca / Maravalli Kizhangu Adai

Maravalli kizhangu also known as Tapioca / kuchi kizhangu is the starch from cassava roots. It has high carbohydrates and when taken in moderate quantity helps in weight gain. It is also gluten free and free of common allergens.

This recipe is made by grinding the Tapioca with rice and lentils. It serves as a good and healthy option for breakfast / dinner.

Eggless French Toast

French toast is a dish made of sliced bread soaked in eggs and milk, then pan fried. Here, I have tried the egg less version.

French toast is normally served as a sweet / savory dish. In the sweet version of French toast, milk, vanilla essence, cinnamon are added before pan-frying and then topped with sugar / maple syrup / fruits. This is a quick and kids favorite breakfast option.

Paneer bhurji is scrambled paneer generally made with onion, tomatoes and spices. It’s savoury, tangy and spicy and goes well with Indian breads or a toast. We had paneer bhurji sandwich in which I have made a simple paneer bhurji recipe without tomatoes.

Oats are extremely rich in fibres and is a very good breakfast option. Ever since I tried overnight oats, I have become a big fan of it. It’s so easy to make and offers a perfect breakfast on a busy day.
It can be prepared really quick and can be modified according to your choice !!!

Masala dosa is so tasty, soft and crisp with spiced potato stuffing in it adding to the flavour and aroma and when had with with sambar / chutney and is any day the most comforting meal !!!

Arisi upma kozhukattai / Pidi Kozhukattai

The arisi upma / pidi kozhukkatais are a twist from your regular upma. They are so delicious and extremely easy to prepare. They are prepared using broken rice with spices, you can use regular raw rice or get broken rice from stores.

Kuzha Puttu

Puttu is a popular and conventional breakfast of Kerala, South India. It’s made with ground rice flour layered with coconut. It is usually had with banana, sugar. kadalai curry and green gram are the most perfect accompaniment for puttu.
